Ahhhhh - it's good to be back home where the weather allows you to have the windows open and the breeze flowing through! The flights home were uneventful...slept 7 hours on the first flight and was glad the next one was only 45 minutes. Our arrival in Amsterdam was quick (for a change) as they had our flight land near the terminal...normally the Dutch have the Lufthansa flight land out in the Polder (reclaimed land) runways and this adds about an extra 15-20 minutes to your taxi time. I wonder if there's any left over...um...issues from WWII.
Ah well - the Husband arrives tomorrow...as long as the severe weather in DFW goes through quickly, I'll meet him at the airport and then a busy workday...the good thing is that we're on vacation for the next two weeks! (gotta love living in Europe)
